This kit is used to quantitate PG13 host DNA residues of different fragment sizes in different stages of biopharmaceutical products, from in-process samples to final products.
The SHENTEK® Residual PG13 DNA Size Analysis Kit utilizes fluorescent quantitative PCR technique (FAM) to perform rapid and specific quantitation of residual PG13 DNA fragments in samples. The assay is designed to amplify three different fragments (118bp, 212bp, 502bp) for determining the accurate size distribution, and the limit of detection (LOD) reaches femtograms (fg) level.
