The SHENTEK® Porcine Circovirus (PCV-2) Detection Kit exhibits a sensitivity of 50 copies per PCR reaction. It features high specificity, with no cross-amplification observed with the genomes of cattle, pigs, and engineered cells (CHO, VERO, 293T, MDCK, NS0, Sf9), as well as engineered bacteria (E. coli, Pichia pastoris). In conjunction with SHENTEK® Virus DNA & RNA Extraction Kit (Product No. 1506730), this kit can efficiently recover viral nucleic acids from complex samples such as cells and serum.
