This kit is suitable for the quantitation of glycerol content in biological product samples, featuring exceptional reliability and reproducibility for biomedical, biopharmaceutical, and food laboratory applications.
Under the action of glycerol dehydrogenase, glycerol reacts with NAD+ to reduce it to NADH, with the amount of NADH positively correlated to the concentration of glycerol. This product calculates the glycerol content in the sample by detecting NADH at 340 nm. The minimum detection limit is 0.01 mM, and the effective linear range is 0.2 mM to 2.0 mM.
